Calling all Cape and Island residents and vacationers: Bakes for Breast Cancer’s summer event runs from August 2nd through August 8th! Need a hint as to which participating establishment you should visit first? Look no further than Osterville Fish Market.

Since 1998, owner Paul Dean has specialized in fresh seafood, with standout offerings of lobster, clam, shrimp, scallops, salmon, swordfish and much, much more! In addition to serving as a fish market, the Osterville location has a stacked take-out menu with all of the Cape Cod classics. If you have any trouble picking, understandably so, take it from social media manager, Sam Monroe:

“Our staff favorites include our Fish Tacos and Cape Cod Burrito,” Monroe said. “As far as fresh fish, anything local is a favorite of ours!”

Don’t be fooled by Osterville Fish Market’s seafood focus, their take on this Massachusetts original is sure to satisfy.

“People love our cookie,” Monroe said. “They’re often surprised to find a cookie they love at a fish store.”

Be sure to add one of these chocolate-morsel-filled delights to your order to make a real difference!

Despite the pandemic’s continued presence in their community, and the numerous difficulties brought on therein, Paul and Sam decided to give back through Bakes for Breast Cancer.

“We have always felt that giving back and supporting local causes is an important part of being in business on Cape Cod and New England.” Monroe said. “This is one of the causes that has affected everyone at some point, so it is an easy one to participate in.”

Thanks to Osterville Fish Market’s partnership with Bakes for Breast Cancer, contributing to the fight against breast cancer couldn’t be easier, nor more delicious! Stop on by, fill up on fresh fish, and add a couple chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Doing so allows for crucial breast cancer research to be conducted right here in Massachusetts. With research grants as difficult to secure as ever, every dollar raised matters. When establishments and their loyal fans come together, real research work gets done.
