The outbreak of Covid-19 threw a wrench into the works of life as we knew it. It is a struggle for everyone who has lost employment or is trying to find a new normal in their daily jobs. While they may normally lie in the back of our minds the hospitality industry continues as a backbone of our society to be there when we need them most. Through quick adaptation, going to takeout and adding provisions and pantry items, they have proven they are not going anywhere soon. Their responses were creative and put into action as quickly as possible doing …
We might be only to be able to see white snow outside beyond our imaginations with icicles hanging off of houses and buildings everywhere. Temperatures so frigid you can’t imagine that you truly have to go out into it. Snow days galore that affected local business including many of our participants. Public transportation, traffic and parking are all major inconveniences right now. This winter is one for the history books.

Boston is in the process of healing. It will take time. Strong and united Boston stands. Listening to Stephen Colbert talk about Boston and who we are, humorous but true! Hearing the national anthem being sung at the Bruin game last night shows our unity and spirit.

Fundraisers have begun to help and of …

One thing I was interested to learn about while researching different inspections for homes is radon. Radon is a radioactive gas which comes from the natural decay of uranium that is found in nearly all soils. It typically moves up through the ground to the air above and into your home through …

Some people are shy when it comes to adding a peppery punch to their tuna salad. But personally, I like to spice things up in the kitchen.
Last week, as I was whipping up an omelette, I noticed the sub-par abilities of my pepper mill. I cranked and cranked, but the pepper only scantily dusted my breakfast.
And so, my hunt for the perfect mill began.
As I was browsing Williams-Sonoma online, I came across the Trudeau Graviti Electric Salt and Pepper Mills. Forget the old, out-dated mill that requires you to grind by hand. The Trudeau mills do all the …

Now we kick off our efforts for 2012! Who will participate? What desserts will they serve? You will have to visit our website, Facebook and follow our tweets to find out!
