Christina Applegate, founder of the breast cancer charity Right Action for Women is now the proud mama of a baby girl! Christina became a first-time mom last Thursday when she welcomed Sadie Grace LeNoble into the world. The little tyke weighed in at 7 lbs., 8 oz. and both mommy and baby are doing just fine.
In 2008, after receiving her breast cancer diagnosis, Applegate created the foundation to educate women about what it means to be at “high risk” for breast cancer and encourage them to talk to their doctors about appropriate screening.

Seven year ago July 8, 2003 on what was planned to be a day shopping with my then 13-year-old daughter became a day that stopped me in my tracks and cemented the meaning of “your life can change forever in one moment.”

Last year I had hope Isabelle’s CurlyCakes would be participating in Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer 2010 but unfortunately the space at 81 Charles Street in Boston was not finished in time. I am happy to say that Isabelle’s CurlyCakes is now open and will be participating in Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer 2011 which is scheduled for May2-8th! We are very excited to welcome them to Boston Bakes along with Todd English’s Figs and Kingfish Hall!
Word about how good Isabelle’s cupcakes were heard well before the cupcake store opened in Boston! Friends who ate at The Plaza Food Hall …
