It is only 8 am in the morning on March 2; I have not yet read the food sections in the Boston Globe and Boston Herald but have already checked my emails and have many to read, answer and write. I have a long list of calls to make and many things to follow through for many people who need something that I have. There are just not enough hours in the day to get everything done but somehow it all happens. We try to get it all done!
This Wednesday morning we added one more to our growing list of participants in Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer. Our 222nd participant came from Regan Communications when they resigned The Stanhope Grille at the Back Bay Hotel for the second year in a row!
Who will be our 223rd participant, only time will tell! We only have until the end of March to get everyone signed up in this year’s event. Then we file the necessary papers and go on to the next phase of Boston Bakes.
Soon, we will be learning about the wonderful desserts our participants will be serving and sharing them with you on our website and on our Facebook page. We will tweet the desserts to tempt you with them as well. We will tell you those who ship their Boston Bakes desserts in case you can’t make it out and the one company so far that will deliver their dessert to you, as long as you are in their delivery area. This is where we let you shop for desserts!
We will also ask you to DONATE! If you can’t have the desserts or want to have both the dessert and donate, we would be grateful. You will be helping us raise money for breast cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
This is where we are this morning. Who knows what the day will bring. We will keep you posted!
