As I have mentioned before it is the people we meet that makes fundraising very special. When someone wants to do more for you and give you a donation over and above their support of one of our events Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer, we are very grateful for their belief in our organization Bakes for Breast Cancer.

We would like to thank our friends at Salvatore’s (all of their five locations in the greater Boston area) for wanting to remember the importance of October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month; a time to remember those who have passed away, those who are fighting, and to those who have survived this indiscriminate disease we call breast cancer.

On October 20 & 21, Salvatore’s wants to share a special menu with their guests and friends, a special menu for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is a tempting menu with Harpoon Pumpkin UFO Braised Pork Belly, Gnocci, Cioppino and for dessert a Pumpkin Crème Brulee! Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a time for remembrance and celebration. We have come a long way in the fight against breast cancer; many advances have been made but the cure still has not been found. All of our work must continue.

Getting involved or making a difference to our organization like Salvatore’s continues to do is one way everyone can help. Enjoying a meal with friends and family at Salvatore’s is a way we will celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We look forward to seeing you at one of Salvatore’s locations on October 20 and 21.

You can also Donate or Get Involved with Bakes for Breast Cancer. You can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer all year long!
