Acton, Arlington, Belmont, Beverly, Boston, Braintree, Brewster, Bridgewater, Brighton, Brookline, Burlington Cambridge, Centerville, Charlestown, Chestnut Hill, Concord and Cotuit are some of the communities you can start with when planning where you would like to go for this year’s Boston Bakes.

But don’t stop there because then you have to move to the towns and cities starting with D and go all the way down the alphabet to get to cities and towns that begin with W and visit them all! It is a fun journey visiting new restaurants, bakeries, cafes and chocolate shops and going back to your old favorite places and ordering desserts that can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.

The journey you take for Boston Bakes will help us raise much needed money for breast cancer research.  With your help, we can raise $100,000 this year just by ordering desserts at one of our 275 participants.

With over 100 communities our participants are giving you lots of choices where to visit! In Boston we have over 60 locations you can visit and get a dessert that will benefit breast cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston! From the South End to the North End and point in-between, Boston Bakes has you covered not only with great food but with great desserts as well!

In Brookline we have 15 participants from Beacon Street to Harvard Street and even on Boylston Street when La Morra reopens!  Take a walking tour starting at Tattes Fine Cookies and Cakes and end up at Party Favors and stop everywhere in between.  You can easily map out a wonderful journey of Brookline visiting as many participants in one day.  Can’t make it in one day, you have a whole week to do it! If you want to be guaranteed a chocolate shoe from Serenade Chocolatier, order ahead! You will be glad you did!

Cambridge has over 20 restaurant bakeries and café’s participating.  Start in Harvard Square where desserts will be calling your name from Finale, The Red House, Harvest, and Sweet Cupcakes to name a few in Harvard Square and walk up Massachusetts Ave to Porter’s Square for some wonderful desserts at Cambridge Commons and Christopher’s!  That is just the start of your journey; because we have you surrounded in Cambridge you might need a car to reach all of the participants!  Picante Mexican Grill, Joses if you are in the mood for Mexican are waiting for you and so many others!

The towns starting with ABC are strong no matter how many in the towns and cities are participating.  A town with one or 3 participants is as important as the cities that have more participants.

A complete list of participants is waiting for your dessert journey May 2-8th and will offer you some of the best desserts you have ever eaten and some wonderful food to go along with the desserts!

More on the desserts we will tempt you with coming soon!  But if you want a sneak peak, check out the photo gallery! Make your reservations now for Mother’s Day!  End all your meals the week of May 2-8th with a sweet dessert and help us raise money for breast cancer one sweet at a time!
