A once in a lifetime occurrence where Thanksgiving and Chanukah actually fall on the same day!  It happens this year! Last year I had no idea we would be celebrating two holidays together!

Oh vey, the dilemma this causes!  What do you leave out of your annual Thanksgiving menu and what do you do to celebrate both holidays!

All I can tell you is that is one starchy holiday! Added is my traditional kugel, the pumpkin kugel got vetoed by the family.  In is the potato pancakes and challah stuffing! I am keeping the mushroom soup, endive and goat cheese appetizer and roasted brussel sprouts. Out are the cippolini onions and corn pudding! Desserts this year there will be only two down from the usual four.  With so much food two desserts are gone!   Granny smith cobble and a bourbon pecan pie will be the only two desserts!  Really how much can we eat at one meal?

Friday, I promise that I will exercise!  Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and Chanukah!   I have so much to be grateful for this year! Time to go to the market!
