This week, I’ve been staying at home everyday, sick with a cold. That meant no going out to eat, no baking, and lots of rest, hot tea, and chicken noodle soup. I’ve been celebrating a lot of family birthdays lately – five, to be precise – and we’re only three months into 2013! With every celebration, we always have a sweet ending: cake from a local bakery or homemade desserts. Here are the different kinds of cake that I’ve been enjoying.
