Milk & White Chocolate Chip Cookies

Last weekend, all of Massachusetts was snowed in due to the historic winter storm Nemo (2 feet of snow in some places!). In a way, it was nice to spend some time at home with your roommates and watch movies, play games, cook, and bake (my favorite hobby!). My sister and I made classic milk & white chocolate chip cookies.
 

 
 
Chocolate chip cookie recipe (yields 50-60 cookies):
Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 Cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 Cup granulated sugar
3/4 Cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 Cup white chocolate chips

Chocolate chip pancakes were always my breakfast of choice when I was a kid. The thought of light and fluffy pancakes with sweet chocolate and warm syrup makes my mouth water. Any flavor pancakes, from banana to blueberry to lemon-ricotta, are a delicious breakfast treat.

Oatmeal & White Chocolate Chip Cookies

Once a month, I bake sweets and bring them to work to share with my coworkers. Shhh, they don’t know it, but they’re my guinea pigs, since the treats that I bring are usually from a new recipe that I’ve never tried before. Of course, if the results aren’t to my liking, then I don’t share them.
