Whether it as a home away from home or a favorite vacation spot, Cape Cod has a special place in the hearts of many New Englanders. Carol Sneider, founder, and president of Bakes for Breast Cancer has proudly called the cape her home for the last 35 years. “It’s part of me” Carol said, “Doing something with a community I’ve called home for so long is important to me”.
Not only is the Cape important in our personal ties, but it has a special history to Breast Cancer as well. Women on Cape Cod have a 20% higher rate of Breast …

The first Labor Day was celebrated in New York City in 1882 but that is not when it became a national holiday! Who created the holiday might be unclear but it is something we celebrate proudly every year.
When Labor Day rolls around, it always marks the unofficial end of summer which flies by once Memorial Day comes and …
Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer 2013 is now history! The work has been done, the desserts have been enjoyed! Soon we will be letting you know about Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer 2014!
Let’s savor the results and efforts of Boston Bakes 2013 for a little while longer!
What a week it was! Boston Bakes 2013 was dedicated to a very special and kind woman who lost her battle to breast cancer, Anna Guarino at the age of 60. She gave so much to her family and community and is missed by all who knew her. She lives in the heart of …
Out of the blue on December 10, 2012 I received a call from a reporter at the Boston Herald who was writing an article in regard to charitable organizations and how much they gave to the cause they were raising money for. She called to interview me because we gave much of what we received from our event to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston to be used for breast cancer research.
I was interviewed over the phone and then was caught by surprise when she said we would like to have a photographer come over now and take your picture! I …
