So what is a QR code you might ask? A QR Code is  short for Quick Response where modules are arranged in a square pattern and information  is encoded in the square pattern. It takes a smart phone and an QR application to read it!  All you have to do is open the QR application on your smart phone and hold it up to the QR  and follow the instructions for the application on your phone. Once you click on the QR, it can give you a website, provide text information and so much more!

This is just another one of our re-branding strategy’s, Alexa Hill, CEO Brandgelist, implemented during the re-launch and re-branding of Boston Bakes.  Now, Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer is using it all the time!  We used it for collateral material that could be found at our participants locations around the state to let you know you can donate to Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer and support breast cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Where else have we used it?  On T-shirts hidden in the design of the shirt for you  scan with your phone!  We think it is great!

At a recent press conference we used QR codes to provide press and media contact information.

A great tool and fun to use.  Get your smart phones ready and get ready to read Boston Bakes QR Codes! You will never know what will be embedded in the design!
