While on a checkout line at Trader Joes, I noticed a woman who only had boxes of Candy Cane Joe-Joes in her cart and her comment to me was that she wasn’t crazy but the cookies were great and you have to stock up on them during the holiday season!

My next trip back to Trader José’s, I bought a box, tried them went back and bought several more  boxes, brought a box over to daughter and hid a box to save when they were no longer on the shelves at Trader Joe’s.

I understood why the woman only had Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s in her cart!  I have never tried a Joe-Joe before but this candy cane cream filled cookie tasted in a way like a Girl Scouts thin mint cookie but was more addicting! I could actually sit down and eat a whole box but I would not let myself.  The cookies are that addictive! The cookies are just that special!

My last box, the hidden box was discovered and opened.  Slowly the cookies are disappearing and soon the box will be empty.

I guess I will have to commiserate with those on the Trader Joe’s Candy Cane Joe-Joe’ page on Facebook and wait until next November when Candy Cane Joe-Joes will make their reappearance on store shelves!
