Now thirty-five years later, she continues to follow her craft in her second season at the Sagamore Inn as Head Baker creating her specialty cakes pies and desserts working with and for the Bilodeau family.

View Hotel has included turns at top resorts across the U.S., but it was an
international detour in 2013 that shaped his approach to the kitchen and life.
Armed with a wealth of early career experience, Copeland headed to Hanoi as a
volunteer chef instructor at a vocational training school for disadvantaged and
disabled youth. The experience made him more mindful of waste and more
charitable with his time—attributes he tries to impart to his team today.

Every family has that one recipe that is famous to all of its members. That one recipe that is always the star of any family gathering no matter what the entrée is. A recipe passed down from generation to generation, while always staying the same. We are going to share one of those recipes with you now. For the family of Toni Berry that recipe is her famous zucchini bread, made from zucchinis from her garden. Cape & Island Bakes

Just like in Boston, Boston Bakes has widespread partners throughout the North East. Our newest partnerships take us all the way to Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha’s Vineyard for a week of baking delicious desserts and fundraising right at the beginning of June. While our newest set of fundraising events, Cape & Island Bakes has grown relatively large in the few years it has been running, and now encompasses much of the seaside Massachusetts.

April Is Cancer Control Month

With April coming up at the end of this week, I thought I would highlight that April is in fact Cancer Control Month, as proclaimed by President Obama in 2015. In recognition of all of the researchers who dedicate their life to finding a cure for cancer in all of its form, and in dedication to those who continue to fight it, Cancer Control Month is to commemorate a battle for a future free from cancer.
