I recently travel to Columbus for the wedding festivities of a lovely young woman I got to spend time with as she grew up. I am so glad I went to her wedding. I had such a great time in Columbus I can’t wait to tell you the fun things I did, but first things first!
This wedding was special for numerous reasons and I learned so much by attending and have tips to share when you plan your wedding!
The couple’s invitation was unique and in lieu of gifts asked you to donate to a choice of charities in their local community or if you prefer a charity of the guests choice. They had a beautiful website which made it easy to find the local charities of their choice, links to the charities and by the time I got to their open house the night prior to the wedding, they had already been made aware of the donations I had made!
Spain holds a special place for this wonderful couple, as a surprise to all and one of the best kept secrets from everyone except maybe the bride’s mother, the bride wore a beautiful designer wedding gown in red! How beautiful she looked!
I knew I was at the right wedding when I picked up my table card and typed on the card was in capital letters “SAVE ROOM FOR CUPCAKES.” There was no wedding cake but a table filled and refilled with tasteful miniature cupcakes!
