Not only are blueberries a great source of vitamin C, K, and manganese, they are also known for being antioxidant powerhouses.
One of the many phytonutrients found in blueberries are anthocyanins, which give blueberries their intense blue color in addition to providing several health benefits. In cell studies, anthocyanins have been found to protect against some cancers, including breast, colon, stomach and prostate cancers. Research has shown that these phytonutrients play an important role in inhibiting inflammation, decreasing tumor growth, and counteracting oxidation.

The latest trend in yogurt has been showing up everywhere over the past few years, from grocery stores to coffee shops, convenient stores and more. At first I was skeptical. The plain, sugar-free flavor of greek style yogurt was boring and bland compared to the fruity flavors of Yoplait‘s apple turnover and boston-cream-pie-delights that I was used to.
But soon enough, greek yogurt worked it’s way into my heart and is now one of my most desired snacks. Chobani is definitely my brand of choice.

The Helmand Restaurant in Cambridge,Massachusetts is a wonderful Afghan restaurant and it introduced me to one of my favorite dishes of all time Kaddo.
